New listings

A house on Route 44 in Lithgow that has undergone several serious renovations has come on the market.  It is being advertised as “a compound”: a pool-guest house designed by Jim Crisp sits back from the house as a separate building.   The latest in kitchens, wine cellars and sound systems have been installed.  You can practice on your own cappuccino machine and learn a marketable barista skill while your partner learns the craft of pizza-making on a built-in pizza oven.   It’s all here on six tidy acres, move-in ready.  The listing broker is Candy Anderson of Guernsey. The price is $1.2 million. It is expected to go fast.

Max Goodwin of Millbrook Real Estate is offering the building on the corner of Franklin and Front Streets for sale to an investor.  The retail space is rented to four tenants. Max describes it as “the premier retail” building in town.  Alicia Adams Alpaca is the lead tenant.  Listed at $1.2 million.

Houlihan Lawrence has 36 listings on its website from the Millbrook area from $600,000 to $14 million. A house in the village recently changed hands at $147,000.
